If you are Keto, low carb or just want protein shakes ORDER this! By far this is the best protein shake I’ve ever had, PLUS it’s less than $10.00. It tastes like it has sugar in it, it’s not chalky and I can drink it without all the extra flavors or fruits ppl usually put in. I haven’t even tried it with almond milk yet. It tastes so good with just regular water. Both vanilla and cookies and cream. No I didn’t get a discount for this review.

Where in the heck has this been hiding? This stuff is AMAZING!

Why I'm in the market for this product: I'm watching calories for the purposes of weight loss. I try to get the most bang for my caloric buck, so low calorie meal replacement is very appealing to me because I can get protein, and a ton of nutrition for drastically less calories than if I attempted a well-rounded meal of similar nutritional profile.

Why this one: the flavor, cost, and calorie count were appealing to me.

My method of preparing it: 12 oz of unsweetened almond milk with one scoop is perfect. I also love adding a tbsp of pb2 powder to it. It also pairs well with coffee & ice, blended into a cold coffee drink. I sometimes add 1/2 tsp glucomannan for fiber, thickening, and satisfaction, but it's definitely not necessary.

My opinion of the product: amazing taste (you can't even taste that signature protein taste that most powders have) it seriously tastes like ground up Oreos to me, fantastic price, great nutrition facts for my personal goals. It also blends easily in a shaker cup and satisfies for 3-4 hours, easily equivalent to or better than competing products. I really love that they don't try to pack a billion grams of protein in here; we're not all trying to build Popeye muscles, just trying to get full and work some good macros in without crushing my calorie goal or spending time in the kitchen for every meal. The convenience of this product made it an instant staple for me!!

I am a fat, newly diagnosed elderly diabetic. This is my routine daily breakfast. I make a shake with a scoop of this powder plus a cup of 30 Calorie Almond milk and half a banana plus water and ice to make about three cups. It tastes yummy. I follow a sensible diet (1200 Cal) the rest of the day. Blood sugar normal, lost 40# and NO MEDICATION! I credit the Protein Powder with getting every day started on the right track.

Love the powder! Not only is it cheaper than the premade bottles I can mix it with just about anything. I like to blend it with my morning coffee. One scoop per cup. Two cups and I'm good to go. Only downside is it doesn't mix well with warm/hot liquid. I add my scoop to my coffee mug and just enough cold water to blend until dissolved. My coffee make makes my coffee HOT so this mix brings the temp down for a perfect cup of joe.

Now, for all the reviews talking about how they got ripped off because their container wasn't full...insert eye roll.... No. You got what you paid for. they just use far more packaging than required. You can see in my photos how much looks to be "missing" but I weighed it out and actually received MORE than what is stated on the packaging!

Overall it's a good product and keeps me tied over until lunch time. Perfect breakfast.

I’ve tried quite a few different shakes and this is by far the best one! At first I was mixing it with 1% milk and it was delicious. Due to carb cutting I needed to step away from that and turn to just water. The texture with the water was of course much different but the taste was still great! I started adding a tablespoon of Chocolate PB2 for added flavor and thickening and it is incredible, I actually look forward to drinking my breakfast every day! Highly recommend!

My kids don't eat enough and they are underweight so doctor said to get more protein in them. But they are very picky eaters so what they don't know wont hurt them . A few scoops into the pancake batter gets them 20 grams each and never taste it. It blends in to the pancake mix well. I like it just as a smoothie.

Also if in a hurry in the morning I started adding 2 scoops to my coffee why use creamer when you can get 30g protein in your creamer. It's cafe Latte flavor. It not bad at all get your morning caffeine and protein in one.

Protein powder supplementation has been a staple in my daily routine ever since it became an option. I’ve used many different types, and for the most part, have been rather content in my choices.
As clever marketing, flashy advertising, and overall nutritional options have flooded the market, it’s been a grind to assess various products legitimacy, see past the BS, and pick a protein.
After trying this I’m confident that I’ve found the right option, the healthiest, and the best bang for your buck.
The nutritional breakdown is solid, the taste is sweet, and the viscosity is smooth.
I’d recommend looking past reviews complaining about certain subjective matters. Allow my review to serve as the objective and absolute truth. I’m kidding (but kinda not.)
While it’s theoretically possible someone may have received a “bad batch,” I’m more inclined to conclude certain people expect literal vanilla ice cream in a protein powder form. Sorry, but you’re not going to find a supplement that includes the vast array of nutrients that serves as a desert.
The fact that I’m/you’re getting copious amounts of high quality protein, vitamins, minerals, while tasting as good as it does, is simply amazing. All to say, majority of the complaints shouldn’t necessarily be directed at a flawed product because it’s ultimately just flawed expectations. It’s a high quality protein, includes high quality vitamins/minerals, mixes similar or better than any other powder, and is exactly as described on the product photos and description. I’m more than satisfied and think you’ll enjoy this supplement as much as I do.

April Steele

This is my second order of this product and I opted for a larger canister this time because it is so good. I didn't have high expectations, but this is really a very good-tasting product for zero net carbs. I highly recommend it for anyone on a low carb or ketogenic diet.

Mike

I bought the pound of creamy vanilla just to try it. I mix 2 scoops with about 1/4 cup of heavy cream, tablespoon of MCT oil, few drops of ez sweets and the fill it up with unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my shaker bottle, no lumps mixes well, it’s good and I will be buying the 3lb container for sure.

I HATE protein powder. The way it makes your smoothies taste chalky and changes the taste to something weird.

So when I say 'I LOVE this protein powder", it means something.

It does change the taste of whatever it's added to, but it gives it a cream-type taste instead of that awful chalky taste most powders add. So, if I add it to straight orange juice and ice, it tastes a bit like a creamsicle. Same way with other drinks. My typical smoothie of choice is banana, chunky peanut butter, ice, milk, and a scoop of Pure Protein powder. Delicious.

William Yelverton

This is sweetened perfectly, stevia and fructose. Stevia by itself isn't so good but when combined with a little natural sugar, it works. I ABSOLUTELY HATE CHEMICAL SWEETENERS... particularly sucralose, and acesulfame potassium. These chemicals seem to be in the vast majority of sweetened protein powders. I would far accept a little natural sugar than I would these chemicals and that's why I choose this brand, NO chemical sweeteners. One of my favorite healthy desserts: make a thick cream with a scoop of vanilla protein powder and a half cup of milk. Serve over fresh or frozen berries. wow.

Jay

OK, here's the deal on this stuff.

Just got my tub today, had it for the first time.

It actually tastes extremely rich, very nice vanilla flavor.

I used a very conventional shaker bottle, not a blender, and got it very smooth, not lumpy at all.

Anybody that thinks this stuff doesn't taste good does not have realistic expectations about the purpose
of this type of product. It is a meal replacement, not a milkshake.

That is all.

I absolutely love this protein powder! I’m lactose intolerant so this works for my stomach with no issues whatsoever! The power doesn’t clump up in the bottle either! I highly recommend this to everyone!

Katie

Really delicious, tastes IDENTICAL to sugary ovaltine despite somehow being 0 sugar. I make mine with unsweet almond milk and it is perfect

Dakota Coursey

I rarely write reviews but had to on this one. I’m extremely picky with my products, specially with the taste. Thank god for GNC’s return policy (bring it back without taking more than 5 scoops and you get full return store credit) I went through 4 different proteins and each flavor was not great. I know with Isolates you’re not going the best taste but this is better than any whey protein I’ve had. The flavor is amazing, it’s mixes great, and it’s perfect for someone who’s trying to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I love this protein powder. I'm so dissapointed that they discontinued the 100 calorie low fat chocolate flavor muscle milk because that one is my favorite flavor. I'm still thankful that they still sale the same product only in a different flavor (Vanilla Creme) but I really wish they would bring back the 100 calorie chocolate flavor muscle milk. Overall its a great protein powder if your trying to get lean or maintain being fit and lean and still keeping all your muscle. I have 2-3 scoops of this stuff a day my wife also loves this as well. As this product is a good source of protein, very low in calories, minimal fat and a little bit of added vitamins and minerals. It has Whey protein Isolate and Milk protein Isolate in it. I usely mix this stuff in my oatmeal or cereal and sometimes pancakes. I also sometimes throw a couple servings of this in the blender and make myself a delicious, healthy protein shake. With the Vanilla Creme flavor I usely add strawberries and a cup and half of almond milk or a handful of almonds instead of the strawberries for healthy fats. It taste incredible. I look pretty good and feel good as well consuming this on a daily basis as I'm a vegetarian so this stuff is a big source of my protein, along with nuts, seeds, and greek yogurt or low fat cottage cheese. Please don't discontinue this 100 calorie lowfat muscle milk product. By the way if your like me and you miss their old chocolate flavor you can add a tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder per serving of this muscle milk and I find out it taste like chocolate vanilla. Its amazing! If you found this review helpful please click the helpful icon below. Thanks.

I love this protein drink but what I love morst is the excellent flavor and creamy smoothness. This is by far the best chocolate milk I have ever tasted, so smooth and creamy, so rich and chocolatey - Its to die for. Way way better than quick which is gritty compared to this stuff. It tastes so good and its good for you - what more could you want?

Jason

I am Lactose Intolerant and all of the protein powders on the market that are Lactose free either taste gross, are plant based, have too much sugar or are ridiculously priced. This is a remarkable product that I would highly recommend for anyone looking for extra protein to complement their fitness and dietary requirements

I am strong now. This whey protein gives me the strength to move mountains. Build walls. Break them back down. Build another wall. Call my mom and tell her I love her. Have profound conversations with myself about the falsehoods that is ego and realize that hyper masculinity is an illusion to mask years of fearing things I don’t understand and limited thinking. Thanks whey for giving me the brute strength to overcome my fears of becoming a ballerina.

I’m not a body builder by any means. I work out about three times a week and I use the protein powder for a post work out shake or for a quick breakfast. I’m not on strict diets or anything like that, so my review is from a regular joe who works our mostly to stay in decent shape and stay alive. The protein powder as a shake is pretty delicious. No weird aftertaste like many other powders, and it’s really filling. I’m sure most “pros” know all the tips but for those of you that don’t, it helps if you mix the powder with whatever liquid you prefer, I use soy milk, before adding ice. If you put everything in at the same time the powder gets clumpy. I don’t know why, but that’s been my experience. I use a blender not a shaker. Again, the chocolate malt is what I like and it tastes great.

Best protein on the market. For everyone saying the formula has changed... as far as the Double Rich Chocolate I've been getting for YEARS, there is no change as of a week ago (Jan-2018). No Sucralose. Just avoid flavors like Cake Batter, Ice Cream and Banana.

I use this powder to make waffles.
-1 scoop of powder
-1 egg
-1 TBS butter
-a small amount of water to thin out the batter.
This makes two waffles at 1 net carb each.
The flavor is great and it feels like I'm having a cheat meal. I definitely recommend the Cinnamon Crunch flavor!

I discovered Quest products a couple years ago during my Keto journey. I can honestly tell you that I’ve always been pleased with the quality. While everyone has there own favorites when it comes to taste. One thing you can be sure of is you’re receiving the best ingredients with whatever your choice. There are tons of recipes available online for different drinks and baking recipes.
I’m addicted to the Caramel Protein powder and it’s been my go to for well over a year now. Generally I mix it in my morning smoothie using 8 ounces of a favorite almond/coconut milk a few ice cubes and it fuels my body, keeping me satisfied well into the afternoon. Another option I enjoy is replacing the milk with cold brewed coffee. Either way you’re in for a treat! A taste that easily compares to your favorite milkshake. The options are endless, whether to choose to drink or bake with it.
For me personally I feel using a blender makes it extra tasty with a thick texture. Especially with about a cup or so of ice cubes. I’ve heard of others hand mixing it but I don’t know if I’d enjoy as much that way.
So with that said, I highly recommend Quest Protein Shakes. I hope you’ve found my review helpful as I rely heavily on them and try to mention what’s important to me. If you’ve found my review helpful, please click below to let me know. Should you have any questions you can post them above in the designated area.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and Happy Shopping!

At my last physical, my doctor suggested that I consume more protein. However, I am a vegetarian (unless I see bacon, in which case all bets are off) and so getting sufficient protein without increasing calories to levels unacceptable to me has proven difficult. I vaccinate between angrily grumbling about know it all doctors and just giving up on eating more protein, or gaining weight trying to force my diet to provide complete proteins - lots of beans and rice and tofu and, come on, none of that stuff is edible unless it has lots of fat and a pretty fair amount of salt.

I don’t know where the idea of protein powder entered my head because protein powders are not the sort of thing I had ever really been aware of, and if I had been aware of protein powders I would have wondered who the hell would use them. Like, why? Why eat powder, unless it’s the powder on a donut (did I mention I have a sweet tooth?). What a strange thing to do. But you know the internet, and how it takes you to places you never expected to go, whether you like it or not. One day I somehow ended up on a site comparing protein powders. I read, fascinated, and kind of grossed out about gritty smoothies and lumpy shakes. About faint whiffs of horrible smells and terrible tastes (no matter how much reviews try to make you believe something tastes acceptable, I can always detect a big hint of ambivalence, a sort of shirking of recognition of the truth - phrases like “you can barely taste it” and “it was almost like my regular coffee only with a different taste” or “I gulp it down like medicine and feel good about it” or “it’s barely gritty at all if you use a high speed blender” or my favorite, “the globules of undissolved powder are not too slimy and it pretty much does taste like chocolate” give the game away.

After reading enough reviews of different powders to make my head spin, and finally even taking notes, I realized there was a pattern - one brand of protein powder was lauded for more than its protein and other things that I have not a clue about (MCTs?, BCAAs?). This one brand of protein powder was actually lauded for taste, no matter mostly people talked about the salted caramel flavor, the idea of which makes me want to barf, their rhapsodic descriptions of deliciousness and the overall apparent agreement that this powder had all the acronyms generally agreed to be necessary along with a gold standard amount of protein made me decide to order it. I just hoped salted caramel was not the only flavor.

Not to keep you in suspense, because, here I am reviewing Quest Vanilla Milkshake Powder, the powder brand I decided to try was indeed, Quest. It arrived in a big ass tub and the instructions printed on the side talked about it’s scoop, which I though I had forgotten to buy - but no, it’s scoop does come with it, it was just hiding, lodged firmly down at the very bottom of the powder, goodly quantities of which were sadly lost In a powder cloud that arose during my excavations.

When talking about protein powder, just about everyone said, don’t try this with just a spoon and a glass or you’ll be horribly sorry, so I had purchased a plastic cup with a sort of odd plastic weathervane attached to the bottom and surprisingly, a USB cord - It really IS the future when even your cup needs to be charged, though I’m surprised it didn’t come internet ready. Next iteration. Nearly everyone also said don’t try this with water - get some some milk, even nut milk If that’s all you can find, or coffee, or something else to disguise the powder in. But I decided to just jump in the deep end with this and so once my cup was charged and emitting an eerie green light, I added 8 ounces of water, pushed the button on the cup, which created a sort of negative tornado, and added a scoop of the powder, which got just consumed by the tornado, and let it twirl for 5 seconds as the cup had indicated. With trepidation I poured the resulting creamy, foamy looking mixture into a glass in which I had added several cubes of ice and took a sip. OMG, OMG, OMG! It was not just acceptable - it was downright delicious. Slightly creamy, softly vanilla-esque, with a gentle sweetness that was fabulous to the bottom of the glass. No grittiness, no powder in my mouth, and certainly no globules, slimy or otherwise marred the drink. I actually clobbered my nose with the ice cubes trying to suck out the last drops of its goodness. So no, it doesn’t need anything but water, and possibly a cup with a USB cable to be wonderful (don’t tell anyone, but I might even add a shot of rum and maybe a slice of pineapple once in a while because I think it might make a killer pina colada type deal.) I have no doubt that I will enjoy the tub of Quest to the last scoop and I think I will get on a delivery schedule for it. Just wait till my doctor finds out I actually listened to her.

After 1 year of pounding this stuff I have come to a couple of conclusions.
1. Extreme milk chocolate is the only good flavor I've had. It's actually pretty tasty.
2. Double rich chocolate tastes like a generic of a already generic brand.
And 3. My big swole man hands can barely type this review.
Keep chugging.

First of all, I noticed the canister was almost full to the top with product. You cant even get a bag of chips that full anymore. The canister is also huge. Much bigger than my more expensive protien that only came half full. So right off I was impressed. I got the Vanilla Ice Cream and it smelled heavenly. I wasn't sure how good it would taste, but upon mixing it with unsweetened Almond Milk was pleasantly surprised. I had no issues with it mixing. I really bought this to bake with and also have been happy with those results. I have bought the ON brand before (chocolate) and really liked it as well. I highly recommend this product.

I was skeptical since I can't tolerate the over the top artificial taste and sweetness in many of the protein drinks that are out there. This is by far and hands down the best tasting protein powder I have had. I mix it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and it tastes like a vanilla shake. There is very little after taste and the texture is super smooth with just a shaker/blender bottle. The perfect afternoon snack to fill me up til dinner and satisfy my sweet tooth.

I just started drinking this powder a few days ago and my motto is if it tastes like crap it looks great on the body and if it tastes great well it doesn't usually look so great on the body which is why I bought this to begin with. I didn't want to mix it in my morning coffee that's how my son drinks it. Yuck! But I decided to just mix a scoop in some cold water and just stir it up and drink it and don't worry about the taste. Well I did that for 5 mornings this week and to my surprise by the 3rd day I had lost my taste for sugar and cravings! I was really surprised but that's the side affect for drinking this stuff😎 I have lost a pound and I've been working out and my energy is like the energizer bunny! It's crazy as I am a almost 5 year stroke survivor working on getting my energy back up. About the taste once I get past the first sip I can drink the rest and it taste pretty good. I ordered myself a blender that I can't wait to try so I will come back and update this review next week!😊 I say treat your body good and it will feel amazing 😎

I used Shakeology for one year a while ago. I loved what it did for my body and health.what I didn't like was what it did for my pocket, it was just too expensive. I went 3 years without drinking protein shakes, because I didn't know I could fashion something similar to Shakeology by combining a full amino acid profile protein powder with a superfood powder plus flavors like raw cocoa and matcha. I chose Orgain because of the price, to be honest. My first purchase was the Chocolate flavor and I found two scoops in 8oz of liquid made an extremely sweet shake and I couldn't drink it. So I asked for a refund (and they didn't ask me to return the used canister!) and ordered the unflavored powder plus the Orgain Superfood powder. It's a winner!! I even like the texture better than Shakeology --- Shakeology was kinda gooey 😩

I vary my smoothies, but my staple recipe is:

1 frozen Banana (bananas ripen too fast, so I freeze them in ziplock bags)
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
2 tbsp Peanut or nut butter
2 scoops Orgain
1 scoop Orgain Superfood Powder
1 tbsp raw cacao
10 oz Almond milk

It's freaking delicious and filling, plus I noticed less bloating.

Absolutely recommended 😊

I've been using this for about a year. I have tried about everything out there and
for the money...and being plant based...in my opinion it's right up there with
the top name brands; for a lot less cost. I mix it with Organic raspberries, blueberries, 1/2 of
banana, Green Vibrance and self ground Flax Seed; plus some high potency mutli vitamins with
minerals and Ubiqunol. I usually am never tired and have energy that keeps me going until
fairly late at night.I'm going to be 70 and something has to be helping me and I believe it is
this regiment. Good luck and God Bless
